Susan Carnate Ramirez (born January 10, 1959) is the current OIC Regional Director of the Commission on Audit, Regional Office No. II designated by COA Chairperson Michael G. Aguinaldo in July 2018.
Director Ramirez is from Delfin Albano, Isabela where she studied from elementary up to high school and graduated as valedictorian in Magsaysay Memorial High School in 1975. She took up her college degree in the University of the East and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1980. She also furthered her education in Cagayan State University with a degree of Master in Public Administration.
She joined the Commission in 1982 and captivated her bosses and colleagues with her extremely excellent auditing skills and at the same time exhibited proper work attitude. At a young age,
One of the highlights of her career as a public servant was when she was able to survive the rigorous United Nations (UN) training and joined the Philippine Team to audit the UN Headquarters in New York, USA. In 1989, just after her training, she was immediately deployed for three (3) consecutive audit engagements in UN Headquarters. She was also assigned to conduct embassy audits in the United Arab Emerates (2017), Libya and Egypt (2006).
As part of her community service, she is an active servant and action group leader of the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP) – Tuguegarao Chapter.
Director Ramirez is happily married to Mr. Ramelo B. Ramirez Jr. and blessed with children, namely, Ramelo Mari Stephen C. Ramirez III, Roxanne Sabrina C. Ramirez, Raphael Sandro C. Ramirez, and Ruth Serena Consuelo C. Ramirez.
